BLUE TUESDAY is a quiet celebration of color, movement, and the expressive beauty of one of my favorite flowers—the hydrangea. Painted with professional acrylics on an 11" × 14" canvas, this piece embraces a loose, intuitive approach, allowing each brushstroke to remain visible and full of life.
Layers of rich blues, soft lavenders, fresh greens, and vibrant turquoise mingle together to create a sense of calm while still feeling energetic and expressive.
Like much of my work, Blue Tuesday invites the viewer to experience the emotion of a garden rather than its exact likeness. It's a reminder that beauty is often found in suggestion rather than precision, and that the most expressive moments are those created with confidence, freedom, and a willingness to let the paint lead.
